Lehmus Roastery is now not only a coffee roastery, but also a café-factory store and an event oasis.
Lappeenranta-based coffee roaster Lehmus Roastery is growing through a business transaction. In a business transaction completed on Tuesday, March 13, Lehmus Roastery Oy will acquire the café business at Satamatie 6 from Mulaihoo Ay.
At the same time, the farm's factory stores, pop-up shops and event operations will be transferred to Lehmus Roastery.
Rebecca Lehtomäki, the founder of Kiitelly's Satamatie 6 café, will continue as the café's restaurant manager even after the transaction, and the other staff will also transfer to Lehmus Roastery.
More good things to come for everyone

Lehmus Roastery, founded in 2016, and Kafe Silmu's successor Satamatie 6 have been collaborating since the space opened to the public in summer 2017.
Now the collaboration will continue under one company, says Samu Koskinen, CEO and artistic director of Lehmus Roastery .
“ We want to create a larger and more widely serving entity in this beautiful space. Applying for liquor licenses has also been put on the to-do list. A small renovation is also planned,” Koskinen says.
Rebecca Lehtomäki, founder of Satamatie 6, says that the deals were made at an opportune time.
“It's harder to do things together. Now we can accomplish bigger things on many levels than before, and with this group, it's faster.”
Lehmus Roastery's Marketing Director and experienced event producer Arttu Muukkonen will take the reins for organizing events at Satamatie 6 .
“The aim is to bring more experiences to the urban environment of Satamatie, especially since summer is just around the corner,” says Muukkonen.
