Limited Gesha De La Refugio Colombia

Our Limited Series showcases high-quality small-batch coffees from around the world. Coming from Finca El Refugio The Gesha variety is our top-quality discovery. The coffee aromas include peach, citrus and soft sweetness.

Geisha is a sophisticated variety, the Panamanian version of which is known as the most expensive coffee in the world. We follow the international custom where only the Panamanian Geisha is spelled with an i and when grown in other coffee countries we spell it Gesha.

This Gesha grows high in the Huila coffee-producing region of Colombia. David Ruben Gomez has been producing coffee on his small farm for over 20 years. Gomez's brothers also grow coffee, but he is the only one who has focused on producing specialty coffee. In addition to Gesha, the El Refugio farm also grows Caturra and Colombia varieties.

Our partner Osito has been working with Gomez for five years, and the result of this work is a very clean coffee. Nothing extra has been added to the coffee during production, it has not been fermented with fruit or other tricks, but the aromas of the coffee have been created in the coffee bush.

With this coffee, we also participated in the qualifying phase of the Nordics Best Roaster competition in autumn 2025.
