Lehmus Roastery's Limited series coffees showcase rare micro-lots from various coffee regions around the world. This time, we present coffee produced by small-scale farmers from the village of Las Pirias in the Chirinos area of the Cajamarca coffee region in Peru.

The coffee is lightly anaerobically fermented. Its flavors include mango, passion fruit, honey sweetness, and overall sweetness.

We selected this coffee because Peru has been close to our hearts as a coffee-producing country for years. Coffee has been cultivated in Peru for a long time, but in terms of specialty coffee classification and development, Peru lags behind other South American countries. Coffee is grown in mountainous terrain in Peru, making access and educational opportunities more challenging than in more accessible terrain.

Therefore, whenever super high-quality Peruvian coffee is available, we seize the opportunity because the more high-quality coffee that is produced, the better compensation the farmer receives for their hard work!
