Lehmus Roastery is taking over Helsinki one cottage at a time.
The first step, or Karelian echo, begins on Saturday, December 1st, when the doors of Lehmus Roastery's Christmas cottage open at Tuomaan Markkino in Senate Square at 10:00.
This is the first pop-up store in Helsinki of the Lappeenranta-based roastery, which has been voted the best roastery in Finland twice in a row.
A wide range of Lehmus Roastery products is expected.
"Tuomaan Markkinat is an institution, one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe, so of course we see ourselves there creating a Christmas atmosphere.
"Based on the data, we also have a lot of customers and social media followers in Helsinki, so we want to serve them even better. It's also nice to meet people over coffee packages," says Lehmus Roastery's Marketing Director Arttu Muukkonen .
Lehmus Roastery's Christmas cottage offers the widest possible selection of coffees from the roastery. These include the familiar neighborhood series coffees from Myllysaari via Pusupuisto to Sammonlahti, limited edition coffees from the Oligarch and Limited series, and teas from the newly launched Teen tie selection.
"Freshly roasted coffee is an important quality value for us, so we have agreed with a transport company on weekly transport from Lappeenranta to Helsinki for the Tuomaa market. This way we can constantly receive the tastiest possible product," describes Samu Koskinen , CEO of Lehmus Roastery and responsible for the Helsinki pop-up store.
The Lehmus Roastery sales point is located on the map at cottage number 100.
In total, Tuomaan Market has 137 artisan vendors, a food market, a sauna and, among other things, a free carousel. Tuomaan Market attracts approximately 300,000 customers over the three weeks.
