Oligarch Rummy Huehue offers rum-barrel-aged coffee for those who already have everything

Lehmus Roastery's third Oligarch series coffee has now seen its golden light.

Oligarch Rummy Huehue presents a rum barrel-flavored coffee that brings to mind rocking Caribbean and Vyborg cruises and rum-based sweet and light cocktails from the golden 80s.

This time, Oligarch was inspired by the upper-class vacationing of our eastern neighbor, with its yachts and silk-linen shirts with a little too many buttons undone.

A coffee reminiscent of a sunny drink makes you want to say "harasoo" whether it's the sunny beaches of the Caribbean or the storms of the Black Sea coast of Sochi.
The label design wanted a lot of gold and white because they are the most neutral shades that can be used.
Golden palm trees create the dignity of the Oligarchs. Pure white creates expectations of vacations and future trips, the memories of which still have plenty of empty space to be filled with joyful experiences, says Samu Koskinen , artistic director and CEO of Lehmus Roastery, whose handiwork is the design of the package.

Fruity coffee with a creamy mouthfeel

Rummy Huehue takes its name not only from the rum barrel but also from the coffee that comes from the La Esperanza farm in the Huehuetenango province of western Guatemala.
Farmer Francisco Morales grows Caturra, Pache, Bourbon, Typica and San Ramon Arabica coffee bushes on his farm at an altitude of 1,750 meters above sea level. The washed method is used for processing, which emphasizes the coffee's own aroma.

Lehmus Roastery now has experience in producing three barrel-aged coffees.

The coffee's own aroma also remains strong, although the aromas of the barrel add their own touch to the coffee. This Guatemalan coffee has a taste of ripe fruit and a subtle chocolate note, says Visa Tuovinen, roaster at Lehmus Roastery.
"The coffee itself is a great tasting experience with a creamy mouthfeel. The coffee is roasted to a medium roast, which showcases the sweet union of both high-quality coffee and the aromas from the rum barrel."

Previously, Lehmus Roastery's Oligarch series included the bourbon whiskey Bourbon Bourbon and the red wine barrel-flavored Red Ruby.

Bourbon is also available, so now you can taste both whiskey and rum coffee alternately.

In barrel-flavored coffees, the raw beans are flavored in a real wooden barrel containing strong alcohol, which has been used to produce alcohol.

The wooden barrel has absorbed the aromas and flavors of the alcohol, and the raw bean absorbs those flavors. When the coffee is roasted, the result is a high-quality coffee with exciting aromas, which is only made in small batches at a time.

Lehmus Roastery has now aromatized three different coffee varieties in three different barrels. All of the coffees in the Oligarch series have been aged and earned their gold bar-like appearance.
